Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring Epic EMR proficiency and a valid NC or compact RN license.
Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state
• Current BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

Assesses patient needs and conditions to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
Administers medications and treatments as part of comprehensive patient care
Evaluates patient responses to interventions and adjusts care plans as needed
Collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning
Maintains accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
All RNs must pass a pass/fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
