LVN Dialysis Evenings

Overview DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an outpatient dialysis center. You can make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, delivering care in an empathetic and compassionate manner.

This position may involve training at a facility or training clinic other than your home clinic, withfloat duties to other facilities during and after training. A flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
Responsibilities Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
Work as part of a team in a positive environment that supports one another.
Deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities requiring individualized treatment plans, leveraging a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
Apply a combination of clinical judgment, compassion, and hands-on care in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice required.
Current CPR certification required.
IV certification required if required by state regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completed training program approved by the medical director and governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system, where applicable.
BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation.
Minimum of one year’s experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; functional proficiency in DaVita computer systems within 90 days of hire.
