Description: Data Collection: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 24 Number of Staff: 42 Type of Staff: Day Shift: 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC Night Shift: 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs Patient Ratios: 1:4 or 1:5 Type of Equipment: Standard unit equipment EMR: Cerner Typical Hiring Profile: Skill Set Most Recruited For: Must have skills include a valid RN license and BLS certification. Occasional pelvic exams, echo, thoracentesis. Other medical-surgical units. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Basic hospital policies and guidelines. Weekends and On Call: Rare call; staff required to work 6 weekend days per schedule.
