Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within the emergency department and may include floating to multiple locations within the region as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.Triage patients and assess their needs promptly.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nurse aides, to ensure comprehensive care.Manage and administer medications and treatments, including various drips such as insulin, cardiac drips, and critical care medications.Monitor patient progress and respond to emergencies effectively.Utilize the electronic health record system for documentation and patient management.Participate in department orientation and training programs.QualificationsCurrent RN license.Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS.Minimum of one year of experience in an emergency department, with a preference for travelers who have completed previous assignments.Experience in behavioral health care is highly desirable.Nurse RatiosThe typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.Shift DetailsShifts are 12 hours, with various start times.Every other weekend and some holiday shifts are required.Additional InformationTeam collaboration and accountability are core values, with a focus on mutual respect among all staff.Orientation includes one 12-hour shift with an experienced ED RN.The position involves no mandatory on-call or standby requirements.If you are a passionate and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in patient care, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dedicated team.
