About the Company / The Opportunity Join a global technology organization with a strong focus on innovation and enterprise solutions. As Employment Counsel, you will support the Human Resources function across multiple regions, providing practical legal advice and helping ensure compliant, consistent employment practices. This role is well-suited for an early-career attorney who is looking to gain broad exposure to employment law in a fast-paced, international environment while partnering closely with HR and business leaders on day-to-day and strategic matters.
Responsibilities Provide legal guidance to HR and business leaders on a wide range of employment matters.
Draft, review, and update employee agreements, HR policies, and related documentation to support compliance with applicable employment laws and internal standards.
Support internal investigations, employee complaints, and workplace disputes, including coordinating with outside counsel when needed.
Ensure employment practices comply with federal, state, and applicable international employment laws and regulations.
Deliver training and practical guidance to HR teams and business partners on employment law topics and risk mitigation.
Stay current on developments in employment law across relevant jurisdictions and advise on potential business impacts.
Assist in supporting employee data and privacy compliance in connection with HR processes and investigations.
Contribute to process improvements and initiatives aimed at reducing legal risk and increasing consistency in HR practices.
1–4 years of legal experience.
Exposure to HR counseling, employment litigation, or internal investigations.
Experience partnering with outside counsel.
