Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring TNCC certification and trauma/stroke/chest pain experience.

Details

Emergency Department setting with 10 rooms and 19 bed/chair capacity

Patient ratio of 4:1

Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM

No on-call responsibilities

No floating required

No 48-hour scheduling requirement

Uses MEDHOST EMR

Requirements

Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA or ARC)

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required

Trauma, stroke, and chest pain patient care experience required

Travel experience preferred

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Scrub color requirement: Royal Blue

RTO requests must be submitted with the candidate profile and must be less than one week

Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility

Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered

Hours per week: 36
