Job Description Antitrust Associate Attorney Direct Counsel is seeking an Antitrust Associate Attorney to join a prestigious Am Law firm in New York, NY or Washington, DC .

This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with 4-6 years of antitrust experience to join a sophisticated antitrust practice. The successful candidate will advise clients on complex merger reviews, antitrust compliance, government investigations, and high-stakes litigation while working on significant domestic and cross-border transactions.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on antitrust issues arising from mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.

Conduct antitrust counseling related to merger clearance and regulatory compliance.

Prepare and manage Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) analyses and filings.

Handle all phases of Second Request investigations and responses.

Represent clients in antitrust litigation and trial proceedings.

Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and regulatory submissions.

Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary legal teams on complex competition law matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in the New York Bar or District of Columbia Bar .
• 4-6 years of antitrust experience.
• Experience with antitrust litigation and trial matters.
• Significant transactional antitrust experience, including merger counseling, HSR filings, and management of Second Requests .
• Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

~ Salary: $310,000-$390,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
