Assembly & Packaging Packer

Job TitlePerform visual inspection at all levels for raw and coated materials (as determined by the QC Department) to ensure quality standards are met.Manual inspection of cut Canvas, Art paper sheets.Packaging materials in boxes form through a heat shrink tunnel or manually for full width or slit rolls.Hand assembly of packaging materials.Assist in operation of one or more of the following pieces of equipment: sheeting equipment, cutting equipment, pouching, and other packaging equipment.Maintain appropriate housekeeping and process cleanliness.Work closely with others in a team environment to meet safety, quality and production goals.Interface with existing computer systems: Email, PC applications (Word & Excel).Physical and / or mechanical movement of materials manually and with pallet jacks and fork trucks.Graduation from high school or GED equivalent preferred.
