Head of Events & Programmes

Parker School seeks a collaborative, organized, and relationship-driven Advancement Programs Manager to support the school’s fundraising, alumni engagement, and community-building efforts. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, this position plays an important role in annual giving initiatives, donor stewardship, alumni relations, and special events.

As part of a dynamic three-person Advancement team, the Advancement Programs Manager will work closely with colleagues across a variety of initiatives and programs that strengthen community connection and philanthropic support for the school. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, managing projects, and contributing to a mission-driven and highly collaborative environment, with room to shape and grow the role while building a rewarding career in advancement.

Prepare donor communication and solicitation materials

Implement strategies that encourage community participation and engagement

Events & Community Engagement

Co‑lead Parker School’s signature annual fundraising event benefiting financial aid

Coordinate and support donor, alumni, and community events throughout the year

Maintain and grow the alumni database, ensuring accurate records and thoughtful outreach

Assist with special projects, communications, and office activities as needed

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience in advancement, fundraising, nonprofit organizations, communications, events, education, or related fields preferred

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects

Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, and standard office software preferred

Occasional evening and weekend work required for events and community engagement activities
