Kia Lube Technician

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Kia Lube Technician to join our service team. This entry-level position is responsible for performing routine maintenance services, conducting multi-point vehicle inspections, and assisting certified technicians in delivering quality repairs. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service while maintaining Kia's high standards.

Perform routine maintenance services, including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, battery testing, fluid checks, and replacement of cabin and engine air filters.

Complete Kia multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.

Replace windshield wiper blades and perform other basic maintenance services.

Maintain accurate repair orders and document completed work.

Identify maintenance needs and communicate recommendations to the service advisor.

Assist certified technicians with vehicle repairs and shop operations as needed.

Properly use and maintain shop equipment and tools.

Comply with dealership safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Participate in ongoing training and pursue Kia certification opportunities.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous automotive maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Technical school or automotive training is a plus.

Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.

This position is performed primarily in an automotive service shop and requires frequent standing, lifting, and working around moving vehicles and automotive equipment.
