Optum is seeking an Utilization Review Nurse, RN, to support inpatient utilization management. The role reviews admissions and preauthorization requests using evidence-based guidelines, ensuring medical necessity and cost-effective care, with a focus on patient outcomes.
The position allows remote work for those in PST/MST, with a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule and weekend rotation. Candidates must hold an active RN license and be able to obtain CA licensure within 90 days.
