Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
Perform cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation for assigned patients
Manage medication administration and respiratory support, including BiPAP/CPAP and heated high-flow therapy
Deliver post-surgical care and administer blood transfusions as ordered
Document patient assessments and care accurately using Meditech EMR
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including RNs and PCTs to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in good standing (compact or Kansas state license)
Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience
Current BLS and ACLS (ALS) certifications
Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
Demonstrated proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience in a leadership or relief charge nurse role
Familiarity with Meditech EMR
