Rad Tech Position

Rad Tech needed asap. Work in the hospital with a fixed unit and/or in the IPD/OR/ER, etc. with a mobile unit. May be potentially exposed to radiation if proper precautions are not utilized. May be exposed to high-voltage equipment. May be exposed to potentially contagious patients. Occasionally may lift and/or move equipment and/or patients that would be in excess of 10 lbs. High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Must maintain the required hours of continued education. Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible. If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire. Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS). Candidate must be able to rotate all radiology departments. Candidate must have BLS and certification in ART. Self starter, good communication.
