Receives, loads and transports goods. Works in collaboration with Lead Truck Drivers to achieve transportation and logistics objectives.Operate tractor trailers and/or straight trucks and 15 passenger buses on assigned routes.Transport trailers to and from designated locations.Drive forklift duties and perform related duties.Maintain proper truck load distributions, unload and move goods.Load and unload trailers.Ensure compliance with transportation policies, procedures and programs. Must be 21 years old and possess a valid CDL (Class A Preferred).Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesRequires certification as a forklift operator or ability to obtain certification within 6 months. Complies with all Federal Motor Carrier regulations as well as federal, state and local driving / transportation regulations.Requires ability to perform sorting and packing tasks to secure donations.Requires documentation of the successful completion of the USDOT Medical Examination.Requires a valid driver's license, safe driving record, proof of insurance and reliable transportationRequires the ability to work independently while fostering a strong team atmosphereConveys information clearly through verbal and written communication.Maintains confidentiality of information related to LLGI operations, financial matters and personnel matters.
