Description

TMC is a therapy provider that brings physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to long‑term care providers. We are growing and looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join the team. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the physical therapist to address patients' specific rehabilitation goals and functional needs.

Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities designed to enhance physical function and promote recovery, instructing on proper techniques and monitoring progress.

Apply various treatment modalities, monitor patient responses, and adjust parameters to optimize outcomes.

Educate patients and families on injury prevention, body mechanics, and pain management strategies.

Document patient progress and report updates to the supervising physical therapist, collaborating on plan adjustments.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

Current license/certification in the state of practice.
