Counselor (Weekends)

Make a real difference in the lives of youth! Plummer’s Community Treatment Residential and Youth and Young Adult Group Residence Program is seeking compassionate Residential Counselors to join our team. In this role, you’ll supervise and engage residents, support their treatment goals, and help create a safe, nurturing environment.

Available shifts

Monday through Friday 3-11pm

Tuesday through Saturday 3-11pm

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 11pm-7am

Work directly with youth and families using strength-based, trauma-informed approaches

Participate in meaningful work that has a tangible impact on residents’ lives

Full-time position with medical and dental benefits

Provide direct supervision and guidance for residents

Engage youth through the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) Model and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI)

Document progress and communicate with the treatment team

Bachelor’s degree preferred, experience with youth a plus

Visual and hearing acuity to perform essential job functions

Proactive, engaged, and creative in supporting residents and the program
