Head of HR Business Operations

Overview Make a difference. As a Supervisor HR Operations, you will supervise the day-to-day activities supporting Human Resources Operations, including health and welfare benefits and general administration. You will ensure accurate processes and audit compliance, issue resolution, and employee satisfaction; create and maintain a continuous improvement environment.
Responsibilities Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of the Human Resources operations team.
Distribute workload and resolve escalated issues.
Ensure compliance requirements and service level expectations are met by the team.
Provide a high level of team support, coach, and mentor team members.
Develop employees by effectively measuring performance and engaging team members in developmental activities.
Drive onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer of team members.
Ensure team provides high customer service levels.
Evaluate HR processes; ensure documentation and training materials are accurate and up to date.
Identify and implement changes and corrections to system(s); maintain accurate vendor data.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities and projects for all processes owned by the team.
Qualifications 5 years’ experience in operations and/or administration, including employee and/or vendor support.
Four-year degree in Business, Human Resources, Management, or related area.
Supervisory/management experience strongly preferred.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
Knowledge of continuous improvement principles.
Knowledge of human resources concepts.
Knowledge of performance management and measurement techniques.
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
Supervisory and leadership skills.
Customer service and problem resolution skills.
Oral and written communication skills.
Data analysis skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to train and motivate staff and achieve results through others.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees.
Ability to handle a large volume and variety of work.
Ability to work in an environment with tight, constant, and changing deadlines.
Ability to remain flexible and adjust priorities as needed.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Work Shift and Hours Monday - Friday, standard business hours, in office.
Compensation The expected base salary for this position is starting at $65,000-$70,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible - based on specific and relevant business metrics.
