Shift: Thursday - Monday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Status: Full Time

Wage: $19.00 - $23.00 hourly DOE

Location: Avamere Rehabilitation of Shoreline - 1250 NE 145th St, Shoreline, WA
A Housekeeper in a long-term care facility is responsible for maintaining a
clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff. cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and long-term care facilities. perform tasks like dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, emptying
Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
* Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc.,
in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures. Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and
waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
* Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning,
Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
* Perform terminal cleaning procedures, as instructed, when a resident is
plastic liner.
* Assure that work/assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools,
such areas for breaks, mealtimes, and end of the workday.
* Assure that established infection control and universal precautions practices
are maintained when performing housekeeping procedures.
* Coordinate routine/terminal isolation procedures with nursing care; thorough cleaning and disinfection process after residents leave an isolation
Report all hazardous conditions or equipment to your supervisor.

• Follow established fire safety policies and procedures.
• Dispose of refuse daily in accordance with our established sanitation

mop/broom handles, unnecessary equipment, supplies, etc.

Experience with various cleaning methods and equipment.

• Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
• 18 years or older.
• Prefer experience working in housekeeping in a medical facility.
• Maintain tactful composure and confidentiality with residents, family
