We take on ambitious, complex work and deliver it from concept through fabrication and final deployment. We are looking for an individual who is motivated, mechanically inclined, and process driven to run the machines that help us to fabricate world-class projects for retail environments, events, immersive experiences, trade shows, and more. This person will drive throughput while focusing on Britten quality control standards. This is a key member of the team focused on safely and efficiently meeting production goals and stepping in to help where needed to meet the needs of our customers.

Operates CNC Routers, Edge-banders, Beam Saws, Lasers, CNC Foam Mill and hot-wire, 3D printers, Drill and Dowel machines, etc. (ALL equipment)

A flexible member of our machining team - cross-trained on all equipment and processes

Troubleshoots production problems/issues

Understands our visual management systems, and becomes autonomous with own cut-list

Checks part quality and uphold build standard

Interest and ability to work long hours and weekend as needed

Operating industrial forklifts

Experience in carpentry, woodworking, or in a high-intensity manufacturing setting is strongly considered but not required

Familiarity with computer-controlled machinery and various computer operating systems is strongly considered but not required

Interest and ability to work long hours and weekend as needed

Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools including their design, repair and maintenance (including table saw, panel saw, jointer, planer, molder, shaper and/or mortise), preferred

Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods

Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings

Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming

Mechanical aptitude and good math skills

Ability to work before/after typical production hours as work may demand

Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned

One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
