Retail Cashier- Full Time

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self‑motivated, and professional Retail Cashier to join our Fallen IL Store team! and embody our core values of diversity, integrity, passion, professionalism, respect, and responsibility.

No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED preferred.

The ability to communicate effectively with co‑workers, customers, and management.

Make customers a priority by greeting and acknowledging them as they enter the store, helping on the sales floor, and answering the phone within three rings with a professional greeting.

Operate the store cash register: cash handling credit card transactions, appropriate discount returns, and cash register balancing.

Stock, straighten, rotate, and maintain the cleanliness of the entire store area efficiently and to standard.

Request assistance from managers for returns, exchanges, and customer complaints.

Uphold store cleanliness standards by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces.

Safeguard agency assets, including cash, donated items, and purchased items, from harm, damage, or theft. Report any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession of agency assets.

Must adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, Goodwill Retail procedures, and safety and security regulations.

Monthly bonus up to $250.00.
