Registered Nurse Needed for Night Shift

Experience: Minimum 15 months of experience in Psychiatric/Behavioral Health capacity required.
License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required.
Certifications: BLS (AHA) required. De-escalation certificate (MOAB, CPI) highly preferred, can be obtained during onboarding.
Must-Have:
24 months of current Psychiatric/Behavioral Health experience required.
Skills checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Psych/Behavioral Health) required.
Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager/director within the last 24 months preferred.
Description:Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to acutely psychiatric patients.The patient population includes adults, adolescents, and geriatrics.Candidates must have recent inpatient experience and experience across all age groups.The nurse will float across various units as required.Flexibility to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays is required unless the unit is closed.Experience with equipment competency, including restraints, is expected.Candidates should have a de-escalation certification or be willing to obtain one during onboarding.Solid navy blue scrubs are required for the position.This position entails responsibilities for managing chronic behaviors that can include violence, aggression, mania, and self-harm in patients.
