Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs in a Labor and Delivery setting
Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards
Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
Promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach toward patients, families, and all members of the care delivery team
Ensure professional effectiveness through ongoing education and professional development
Float as needed within the health system per unit-specific expectations
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience
Active or pending Washington State RN license (proof of application required at time of submission)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Two professional references from the past 2 years required; at least one must be from a supervisor (Charge Nurse accepted)
Candidates must not have more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO); RTO must be disclosed at submission and approved prior to contract signing
Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
Epic EMR experience, particularly within the past year
