We are a large, physician-owned hospital system across the US. Handle a high-volume caseload of up to 50 matters per month, including defense of claims, case strategy, and resolution management

Provide practical legal advice and risk assessments to business leaders, HR, and claims professionals on workers’ compensation issues

Oversee outside counsel and coordinate litigation strategy to ensure consistent and cost-effective results

Draft and review settlement agreements, pleadings, and related documents

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business objectives

Minimum 8 years of experience in workers’ compensation law, ideally with both litigation and advisory exposure

Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure and balance legal risks with business goals
