Job Description Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Waynesburg Nursing and Rehab

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team at Waynesburg Nursing and Rehab in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, conducting therapy sessions, and developing individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop individualized treatment plans

Provide respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, breathing exercises, and aerosol medication administration

Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans

Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapy techniques and disease management

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote excellence in patient care

Current RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
