Senior Recruiter

Spire is seeking a Senior Recruiter to work out of the Birmingham downtown location. This position will be responsible for managing requisition workload, sourcing candidates for hard to fill positions, hiring qualified candidates and ensuring performance targets are met.

Bachelor's degree in human resources or a business-related field required

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems required

Collaborate with business leaders and HR Business Partners across Spire to understand staffing forecast, hiring needs, team dynamics, and job profiles.

Utilize various sourcing strategies (internet searches, employee referrals external advertisements, social media, career events, social & personal networking) to identify and select the highest qualified candidates.

Support the Lead and Manager, Talent Acquisition in developing and executing company-wide TA strategies that align with the organization strategies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting trends, labor laws, and legislative initiatives to ensure adherence, validity and consistency to all legal compliance requirements in all recruiting and hiring processes.

Develop and implements solutions to ensure continuous improvement of talent acquisition work streams and processes.

High degree of integrity, sensitivity and professionalism in dealing with associate relations issues and confidential information

Strong initiative and ability to independently lead processes and projects yielding quality results

Must be flexible and eager to adapt to change
