Part Time Phlebotomist, 2nd shift

Role Phlebotomist — You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a plasma donor screener and phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

Responsibilities Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.

Perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machines.

Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment within scope of training.

Stock supplies, break down cartons, and assist with proper disposal.

Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).

Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.

What You Bring To Takeda High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, with occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs

Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance

Due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear

1 or more years of experience in a customer- or patient-facing role is helpful

Starting hourly wage: $17.00. The actual wage will comply with state/local minimum wage requirements. Eligible for various benefits and paid time off per calendar year as described in policy.
