Senior Systems Engineer (APU Controls)
Our client, a global aerospace and advanced engineering organization, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (APU Controls) to join their team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Engines & Power Systems (EPS) business unit supporting APU controls development and integration teams. Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer (APU Controls) Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – 111 South 34th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034, United States) Pay Range: $80/hr
Design, develop, integrate, and verify control systems for Auxiliary Power Units (APUs)
Develop control system components (LRUs) and electronic controllers for new APU programs
Execute and document trade studies and engineering analyses
Perform requirements development, analysis, decomposition, and validation
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience in safety-critical aerospace development
- Strong experience in control systems design, implementation, and testing
- Experience with requirements analysis, decomposition, and system integration
- Familiarity with tools such as IBM ELM (DOORS NG, EWM, ETM) and CAMEO
Hybrid work schedule offering flexibility
Exposure to advanced MBSE and digital engineering environments
