Shenendehowa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy and is now accepting applications. The District is seeking culturally proficient individuals who actively foster an engaging environment where students can develop confidence in their own success consistent with the Profile of a Shenendehowa Employee ( .

This is a professional nursing position primarily responsible for providing care to students and performing related nursing services, including maintenance of acceptable health records consistent with medical standards. Conducts physical, visual and auditory screening examinations of students and employees;

Administers first aid and emergency treatment to students and employees;

Assists at school immunization clinics;

Prepares and maintains health records for school authorities;

Consults with teachers, staff members and administration concerning a variety of health factors related to communicable disease and general safety and sanitary conditions;

Maintains inventory and storage of first aid and related health supplies and equipment;

Coordinates transportation of sick or injured students to home, medical office, or hospital in cases of emergency;

Current NYS Registered Nurse license and CPR/AED certification required. Solid working knowledge of nursing techniques and practices, including dietetics, sanitation and personal hygiene. Application Deadline – June 29, 2026
