Exciting Opportunity for High Acuity Float Pool RN (12H Nights)
Job Description:

- Shift Schedule:

• 12-hour nights: 7 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirement: 3 weekend shifts per schedule

- Unit Highlights:
- Join the High Acuity Float Pool!
- Gain diverse experience across various units:

• Critical Care Unit
• Observation
• Med Surg
• General Surgery
• Ortho Surgery
• Short Stay Surgery
• Thoracic Surgery
• Neurosurgery
• Oncology
• Telemetry
• Progressive Care

- Patient Ratios:

• Standard AACN CCU staffing with assignments of 1-2 based on acuity
• Potential for 1-3 for lower acuity assignments

- Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years in ICU or high acuity setting
• Experience with CRRT, Impella, ECMO, IABP preferred
• Must have EPIC and PRIOR floating experience

- Certifications Required:

- BLS (AHA)

- ACLS (AHA)

- NIHSS

- Daily Operations:

• Charge RN creates assignments, RNs choose their assignments
• Self-scheduling available
• Nurse aids typically present (1-2 depending on census)

- Equipment and Monitoring:

• Access to vents, BiPAP, CPAP, Phillips monitors
• At least 1 Monitor Tech on the unit
• RNs responsible for reading strips

- Orientation & Training:
- Comprehensive orientation including General Hospital Orientation, Myles Modules, and Cerner Validation classes

- Cancellation Policy:
- Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
