PRN Registered Nurse

Location: 3205 N Twyman Rd, Independence, MO 64058 Hourly Pay Rate: $40 to $44, depending on experience Per Diem, As-Needed Schedule: Overnights 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum commitment of two shifts per month.

Embark Behavioral Health in Independence, MO is seeking Registered Nurses to support adolescents (ages 1217) in our short-term residential program. You'll also communicate with families, coordinate care, and advocate for students throughout their healing journey. Support student well-being by monitoring vitals, administering medications, and tracking health progress.

Collaborate with families and the care team by sharing important medical updates and advocating for student needs.

Ensure safety and accuracy by tracking and documenting medications, including narcotics, every shift.

Receive training in safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention techniques to support upset teens as they arise.

Play a key role in the healing journey by observing and documenting mood, behavior, and overall health.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri

Experience in medication administration and patient care

Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing techniques, and legal charting

Ability to assess vital signs and communicate medical information effectively

Bedside hospital experience

Experience in diabetic care

Experience in Psychiatric Nursing
