Role: OB/GYN Hospitalist providing locum coverage with a focus on inpatient care.

Schedule: 6-8 calls per month, with 24-hour in-house hospital call shifts.

Mostly low-risk, underserved populations.

Access to a Level III NICU and strong partnerships with Stanford and community specialists.

This position involves working within a well-established inpatient program, focusing on deliveries and providing comprehensive OB/GYN care. Physicians will handle approximately 60-65 deliveries per month, with a C-section rate of 25-30%. The role includes monitoring patients on Pitocin and assisting with C-sections and urgent GYN surgeries when necessary.

Physicians are expected to cover 6-8 call shifts per month, each lasting 24 hours from 7:30 AM to 7:30 AM. The position requires availability starting as soon as credentialing is completed, with an anticipated need for coverage over a 6-month period. Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred to better serve the patient population.

The hospital provides robust support, including 24/7 anesthesia coverage and access to an ultrasonographer. The team collaborates closely with specialists from Stanford and local perinatologists and neonatologists, ensuring comprehensive patient care. The facility uses Cerner EMR for efficient documentation and patient management.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.

Valid California medical license.

Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in OB/GYN.

Recent laborist experience preferred.
