Dishwashers at Amante's Italian Restaurant play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen. They are responsible for washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment while ensuring all items are organized and ready for service. Dishwashers also assist with cleaning kitchen areas, taking out trash, and supporting the culinary team as needed. As part of the Amante's team, they help create a smooth and organized operation while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Set up or break down dishwashing area.

Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster.

General restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed.

Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry

Walks and stands during entire shift.

Must be able to read labels on chemicals.

The work that dishwashers do is physically demanding. Dishwashers must work well under pressure and exercise tact and patience when dealing with other employees and customers. Because the restaurant serves the public and are open on weekends and at night, Dishwashers may work longer, irregular hours.
