We work closely with technology development, manufacturing, suppliers, and industry partners to evaluate emerging lithography capabilities and prepare for successful implementation at scale. As a Lithography Pathfinding Process Development Engineer, you will evaluate advanced patterning technologies including EUV and High NA EUV for next-generation memory products. This position offers opportunities to collaborate across organizations and travel to support early High NA EUV development activities.Responsibilities:Lead and participate in pathfinding activities for advanced lithography technologies, including 193nm immersion, EUV, and High NA EUVDevelop and optimize EUV lithography processes in a technology development environment to meet future manufacturing requirementsCollaborate with process integration, manufacturing, defect inspection, and mask engineering teams to drive process readiness and transfer strategiesSupport development of inspection methodologies and defect reduction strategies for EUV mask technologiesTravel as needed, approximately once per month, to support High NA EUV development and learning activitiesMinimum Qualifications:M.D. in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field with 3+ years of semiconductor industry experience, or B.S. in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field with 10+ years of semiconductor process experience focused on photolithographyUnderstanding of EUV lithography and its differences from deep ultraviolet (DUV) lithographyKnowledge of 193nm immersion multiple patterning techniques, including LELE and SAQPExperience or knowledge of photolithography optics and patterning fundamentalsAbility to collaborate across technical teams and communicate complex concepts effectivelyPreferred Qualifications:Hands-on industry experience with High NA EUV in a pathfinding or technology development environmentExperience with photolithography simulation software such as PROLITH or S-LithoStrong statistical analysis, design of experiments (DOE), and data analysis skillsExperience using JMP, Python, or similar data analysis toolsExperience using AI-assisted analytics to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection, and yield improvement initiativesAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
