Material Handler-Production Shift

Overview Specific Role The Material Handler is a key role in EMIT’s manufacturing facility, ensuring that materials, parts, and finished products are moved, staged, and supplied efficiently to support production operations. This position requires urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to keep work areas organized and safe, both inside and outside the building. Material Handlers directly support the daily production schedule provided by the Industrial Tech and/or Manager.

Key Accountabilities Stage and organize materials in designated aisles as directed.

Support production flow by moving parts, products, and supplies as needed.

Safely operate material handling equipment when required.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.

2+ year of experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred.

repeatedly and remain on your feet throughout the shift.

Strong organizational skills to ensure materials and products are staged accurately.

Attention to detail to support production quality and efficiency.

Experience with forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification preferred).

Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for the duration of a shift.

Follow safety protocols when using tools and handling cleaning materials.
