Registered Nurse (RN) On Labor Care TeamFairview is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Labor Care team at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN. 6 FTE (48 hours per 2 week pay period), overnight shift, 12 hour shifts and every third weekend rotation. Woodwinds Health Campus opened its 86-bed hospital in August 2000. Located on 30 acres of pristine wetlands in Woodbury, MN, it's the only hospital in the southeast metro area. Throughout this process, also understands and incorporates holistic nursing theory based on Watson's Theory of Caring aligning with the practice standards of the American Holistic Nurses' Association whenever holistic therapy is offered.Communicates effectively with patient/family, physicians, the interdependent team, and other disciplines regarding the plan of care.Assesses and documents learning needs of the patient and family. Develops an individualized education plan for patients and families based on identified needs.Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements at the point of care to achieve clinical quality, customer experience, nursing engagement, and efficiency and effectiveness outcomes.Complies with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, board of nursing requirements, patient safety requirements, infection control practices, and other established practice standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures.Actively participates in the development and achievement of department goals (safety, cost, quality, patient experience, employee engagement).Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.Required:At least 6-12 months of labor care experienceAssociate degree in NursingValid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationValid RN Licensure from MN Board of NursingNRP within 6 months of hireCandidate must complete post partum and med surg training within 1 year of hire.Preferred:Bachelor's degree in NursingBenefit Overview:Fairview offers a generous benefit package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
