Oncology RN Contract Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

AM Shift: 07:00 19:30, Monday to Friday. This role requires 3 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week with no weekends or holidays.

The Oncology RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a primarily oncology unit with a focus on chemotherapy administration and bone marrow transplant (BMT) nursing. While floating is rare, there may be occasional assignments to the Med Surg Floor to fulfill work hours.

Responsibilities:

Administer chemotherapy and manage care for oncology patients.

Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in oncology.

BLS certification required.

ONS certification is required.

Experience in BMT is recommended but not mandatory.
