Cashiers- Swing Shifts

Cashier Position
The Cashier at Smoky Mountain Smash in Gatlinburg Skypark will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations at the cash register. The ideal candidate will be friendly, reliable, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Assist customers with menu selections and answer any questions regarding the offerings.
Provide information about current promotions and special deals.
Cash Handling:
Accurately process customer orders and handle cash transactions.
Operate the cash register and ensure correct pricing.
Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.
Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
Order Management:
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally, seeking assistance from the manager when necessary.
Cleanliness and Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the cash register, counter, and dining area.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a sanitary environment.
Restock and organize inventory as needed.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient service.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications
Required current and valid ABC card from the TABC or ability to acquire in the first 30 days.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is an asset.
Skills:
Strong numerical and cash handling skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.

Working Conditions
Must be able to stand for extended periods. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Occasional lifting of items up to 25 lbs.
