TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122!

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Provide direct nursing care in a high-risk, high-volume Labor and Delivery unit serving a diverse patient population including midwifery clients, private OB patients, and community care patients
Function in the role of Baby Nurse during delivery, providing continuous newborn care including eyes, Vitamin K injections, and newborn assessments until transfer to postpartum
Utilize electronic fetal monitoring and EPIC documentation systems
Float to Postpartum and Antepartum units, and potentially to sister facilities providing Mother/Baby care, as needed
Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment; high-risk L&D experience required
Must be able to perform newborn care including eye prophylaxis, Vitamin K (thigh) injections, and newborn assessments
Active RN license; 5 or more years of high-risk Labor and Delivery experience strongly preferred

• Familiarity with AWHONN staffing guidelines and standards of care
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records and electronic fetal monitoring systems

Work in a dynamic, high-volume Labor and Delivery unit with a robust and diverse patient census, offering meaningful clinical experience across all aspects of perinatal care
Staffing practices follow AWHONN guidelines, reflecting a commitment to quality patient care and professional nursing standards
