CNC Programmers - Manufacturing

CNC Machine Operator

The Machine Operator will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. Construct, assemble, or rebuild machines, such as blowers, pumps, boosters, and similar equipment used in such industries as transportation, manufacturing or wastewater treatment.

Develop and improve Standard Work sheets for consistent machining and assembly processes, ensuring parts meet specifications.

Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools (lathes, milling machines, etc.), selecting and securing appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials.

Assemble and align components for various units using standard work and engineering documents, verifying clearances and ensuring proper lubrication and cooling.

Maintain equipment efficiency by operating, reworking damaged parts, reading Bills of Material, cleaning, and lubricating machines.

High School Diploma or GED

1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and maintenance.

Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.

Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.

Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment
