Location: Newport, RI 02840
Salary: $16.00 - $16.00 hourly
About the Position In the Host role, you will coordinate seating of guests to provide fast and courteous service.
About You You are friendly, outgoing, and driven to succeed. You have a strong passion for hospitality and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment.
Essential Duties Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners
Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus
Answers phone
Communicates guests’ needs to service staff and management

Qualifications Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
Restaurant and OpenTable experience preferred; training available for the right candidate
Skills & Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Problem solving skills
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
Collaborative; use a team approach to create an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
