Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a full‑time Physical Therapist to join the inpatient team. The Physical Therapist / Physical Therapist Assistant provides quality, comprehensive, patient‑centered physical therapy services including patient examination (ages 12+), development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non‑licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers. Experience/expertise in inpatient rehabilitation

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy educational program required.

Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required.

Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.

Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy programs and/or specialty practice certification preferred.
