Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 3 x 12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) with weekend and holiday rotation. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a position in the Progressive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac telemetry, management and interpretation of dysrhythmias, and peripheral line care and management. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.

Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry.

Perform EKG interpretations and respond to emergency situations as needed.

Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Active RN license required.

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a progressive care or telemetry unit.

Experience with cardiac telemetry and PCU ratios (1:5).

Proficient in using the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.
