REMOTE Business Litigation Attorney

Overview

Luther Lanard, PC is a boutique law firm based in Newport Beach, CA, specializing in Franchise law. We are experiencing tremendous growth and are looking for a remote full‑time litigation attorney with at least four years of business litigation experience. Franchise law experience is a plus but not required. The role offers significant client interaction and the chance to handle matters independently from start to finish.

Candidates should be able to work full time and be local to anywhere in Southern California.

Responsibilities

Independently handle litigation and pre‑lawsuit dispute matters from initial client contact through resolution.

Identify claims and help clients navigate their options with clear, strategic advice.

Draft demand letters, motions, settlement agreements, and other critical documents.

Effectively confer with franchisors and opposing counsel.

Set and manage client expectations with professionalism and clarity.

Develop cases for trial and arbitration hearings.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar.

Minimum four years of legal experience in litigation.

Compensation

$140,000 – $170,000 per year, with performance‑based bonuses and origination credit for business you bring in.
