Registered Nursing- RN - ER\/ICU

As a RN - Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the critically ill patient with Congenital Heart Disease and/or Surgery.
Organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. Participate in CHSU initiatives and process improvement.
Maintain high-quality age specific care for the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and young adult population.
Apply scientific knowledge; use a variety of equipment; Proactively advocate for patients and consistency educate patients/family throughout the continuum of care.
RN) Registered Nurse

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Congenital Heart Experience and/or high-acuity PICU medical-surgical experience preferred.
