FULL TIME Associate Attorney

A well‑established and leading law firm specializing in the representation of condominium and homeowner associations is seeking a full‑time Associate Attorney with 3‑10 years of experience for our Lincolnshire or Chicago, IL office. The attorney advises boards of directors on corporate issues, manages covenant enforcement, and provides contract review. Qualified candidates must be licensed in Illinois and have strong writing and analytical skills. Knowledge of and experience with the Illinois Condominium Property Act/Common Interest Community Association Act is a plus.

Business hours for this exempt position are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The position requires a minimum of 60‑90 days of in‑office training. Provide legal representation and counsel to Condominium, Homeowner, and Townhome Associations.

Conduct legal research and review documents to support client matters.

Draft, finalize, and record governing documents, opinion letters, and violation demand letters.

Advise Boards of Directors on governance issues, statutes, and compliance with governing documents.

Attend client Board meetings to provide legal guidance.

Manage multiple tasks and deliver timely follow‑up to Principal Attorneys and clients.

Participate in all Continuing Legal Education training.

Familiarity with Illinois Condominium law helpful but not required.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
