Registered Nurse Physicians Immediate Care

Palmetto Infusion provides comprehensive ambulatory and home-based infusion services to both acute and chronically ill patients. The purpose of the Registered Nurse Clinician is to provide medically prescribed infusion therapy to patients with acute and chronic conditions.
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed.
Service Areas: Hickory, NC and may float to other clinics as needed.

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy.
• MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory infusion clinic setting.

Effectively utilize the nursing process to assess and care for patients.
Provide comprehensive nursing care in a professional, ethical, knowledgeable, and compassionate manner.
Participates in on-call rotation as assigned for AIC nurses.
Travel to outlying clinics as needed.
Maintain knowledge of medical/nursing practices by participating in educational in-services.
Accurately perform all nursing duties according to the state nurse practice act while adhering to company policies and procedures including, but not limited to:
Safely administer intravenous and injectable medications as ordered by prescribing physicians
documenting patient care
assisting with administrative duties as needed
