TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Alexandria, Louisiana, 71301!

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit, supporting vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, amniocentesis, amnioinfusions, and IUPC/FSE placements
Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond appropriately to changes in maternal and fetal status
Perform vaginal exams and initiate IVs, draw labs, and manage epidural and IV pumps
Serve as OB circulator in the operating room as needed
Utilize electronic medical record systems (CPN, Meditech) for accurate and timely documentation
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Proficiency in IV insertion and lab draws
Ability to interpret fetal monitoring strips
Proficiency in vaginal exams and OB circulator duties
Organized, detail-oriented, and strong time management skills with an empathetic and compassionate patient care approach
Work in a well-staffed Labor & Delivery unit equipped with modern fetal monitoring technology in a supportive clinical environment
Gain valuable experience in a full-scope OB unit performing a wide range of obstetric procedures and deliveries
