Inova Physician Services - Cardiology Fairfax East is looking for a dedicated Cardiovascular Sonographer Supervisor to join the team. This role will be Full-Time Day shift. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.

Cardiovascular Sonographer Supervisor Job Responsibilities:

Assists the physician in performing a variety of examinations using standard department protocols, isolation precautions and/or sterile technique, as evidenced by Radiologist's satisfaction.

Participates in department/hospital performance improvement initiatives, in-services and meetings, as evidenced by attendance records. Demonstrates an ability to assist with various projects and departmental operations that may include ICAEL accreditation, echo research projects and cardiac fellowship with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness, as evidenced by successful outcomes. Assists departmental leadership with hiring process, departmental education and the training of new staff. American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Registered with Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certification; or Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered with Certification for Vascular.

Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certification for Echo, or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography with Registered Vascular Technologist or Cardiovascular Credentialing International with the Registered Vascular Specialist

Experience - Seven years or more of experience in a hospital/healthcare environment in the performance of cardiac or vascular sonography.

Education - Other Sonography Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical, setting., sonography or five years of specialized training in a hospital/healthcare
