Full Time Truck Drive
Indiana University Health
Responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering/unloading IU Health supplies and equipment to various IU Health facilities via Box truck. Responsible for same-day routes/deliveries. Ensures trucks are prepared for departure and delivered on time. Assists with analyzing routes for delivery optimization. Maintains thorough delivery log documentation. Uses a Warehouse Management System or ERP Software to perform cycle counts, picking, put away, and shipping functions. Reports quality and safety concerns in a timely manner. Previous driving experience strongly preferred.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Must obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 2 weeks of hire date.
Requires the continuous ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
Requires experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Requires the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment.
