TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Peoria, Illinois, 61637!

Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery
Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite
Provide direct nursing care to pregnant patients, including high-risk OB patients, through labor, vaginal delivery, and cesarean section
Perform electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) using Philips/Obix monitors and Epic Stork documentation system
Float to Postpartum and Antepartum units as needed, managing assigned patient teams
Adhere to AWHONN staffing ratio guidelines including 1:1 for Pitocin induction and active labor, and 1:3 for L&D Triage
Active Illinois RN license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
Completion of Advanced AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Proficiency in care of high-risk OB patients, including management of Magnesium and Insulin drips
Ability to circulate cesarean sections in the OR and provide PACU recovery care
Experience working in a Level 3 perinatal center environment
Familiarity with Epic Stork EHR and Obix/Philips fetal monitoring systems
Experience with cerclage placement patient care and antepartum high-risk patient management
Work within a well-supported unit featuring a 24/7 charge nurse (no patient assignment), 24/7 house supervisor, labor hospitalists, and newborn hospitalists on-site
Block scheduling accommodated to the extent possible, with surgical scrubs provided on the unit
